Joaquín, who played the final years of his career at Real Betis, also featured for Valencia CF in over 200 official matches.
Valencia CF ambassador, Miguel Tendillo, and Team Manager Voro González, presented him with a commemorative shirt and a replica of Mestalla ahead of the Matchday 38 contest, which ended in a 1-1 draw and saw Joaquín play 60 minutes in his 622nd and final LaLiga game.
